This is a cotton vest from pre WWII ( sleeves may be removed ).
It is made of thick and soft touch cotton, and it has elegant and small pattern. You can see the elegant cherry blossom (sakura ) pattern was dyed. It was stenciled - traditional technique called 'chugata'.
Textile has exceptionally soft touch. I wish you could touch it.
It has some stains, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
It will be an excellent material for handicraft!
