This is a vintage kasuri kimono made of 'asa'(Japanese hemp). It is considered to be woven in Oumi, and from pre WWII. Textile has a special kind of stiff touch of asa.
It has some some stains, and stitches of the left underarm have come undone. Lining also has tears in the lapel and has patina.
But many parts will be an excellent material for handicraft. |
