This is a vintage kasuri kimono made of 'asa'(Japanese hemp). It is considered to be woven in Oumi, and from pre WWII. Textile has a special kind of stiff touch of asa.
It has some small holes ( in the back and sleeve), some stains. Lining also has tears in the lapel.
But many parts will be an excellent material for handicraft. |
