This is a vintage furoshiki with beautiful color and elegant pattern. Its 'somewake'(divided with two colors) color is impressive. It also has fantastic kicho and butterfly motif, which is dyed with tsutsugaki technique. Its pattern is absolutely elegant and fantastic.
It is considered to be from San'in district.
It has a small hole, and stains mainly in the center part. Please check the detail photos.
Stains in the center are comparatively prominent, and we may not be able to say it is in very good condition, but it is still charming piece for its graceful tsutsugaki pattern.
