This is a vintage futon cover. It has very unique 'fukura suzume'(fat spadger) motif, which is hand-dyed and hand-woven. Its pattern is interesting and very impressive.
It contains 3 width kasuri fabric, and solid blue lining. One kasuri fabric is jointed with 2 fabrics.
Kasuri fabric has several small holes/tears and several stains. Lining also has some stains, but it will be cleaner if you wash it. Lining is made of many indigo dyed solid blue fabric, and they have beautiful blue color graduation.
