This is an antique fukusa from Meiji peirod ( 1868-1912). It has classic auspicious motifs - cranes, tortoise, pine tree, ume blossom and bamboo, which are embroidered. Its hand embroidery work is elaborate and exceptionally beautiful.
Two tassels are missing, but its condition is in excellent.
