This is an exceptionally rare noragi vest. It is made of carp katazome (stenciled ) cotton, and lined in kasuri cotton. Sashiko stitches were done through both fabrics all over it. White stithes are done horizontally, and the combination of sashiko stiches and katazome pattern makes this piece especially unique and impressive. Please enjoy the incredibly elaborate hand work with detail photos.
It has a small hole in the lapel, and slight stain in the back. But as a whole it is in very good condition.
