This is a large flag with stunning samurai motif, which is dyed vividly. Its pattern is exceptionally artistic and impressive. This large flag is from Tosa district in Shikoku.
Unfortunately it has many stains. There also has a trapdoor near one corner, and one coner is missing. In the left under part, it has long irregular stitiches, and the picture is not match in there. It may be torn and repaired.
We can not say it is in very good condition, but it is still charming piece for its fantastic design. |
