This is a fabulous Houmongi Kimono with blue color ombre dyeing design, which is dyed by Itchiku Koubou.
It also has Icchiku Tsujigahana pattern, which is woven with gold foil threads on the base.
It has fantastic atmosphere.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
There are designer's signature on the right front panel.

*The background color may seem irregular on photos, but it is actually one tone of color as seen in HTML code.*

The stain on collar may be hidden when you wear. (A)
It has rather prominent smudges that may be disturbing. (C)
Perspiration stains on the lining are slight and not reflecting to the outside.(E)
Discoloration and wear are slight.
For the details, please refer to the photos and figure.

Although not shown on the figure and photo, it has very slight discoloration on the lining.

Though it has some flaws, it is still wearable enough for formal occasions.
Please enjoy its fabulous fashion!

*Itchiku Kubota*
One of the famous dyeing industrial artists for Tsujigahana technique.
When he was at age 20, he was inspired by Tsujigahana technique, and after long years of study,
he revived it by incorporating the old technique with the new one and created his original technique which he named "Itchiku-Tsujigahana".
He receives a high evaluation in abroad for his unique design and deep hue in the pattern.
He was awarded 'Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres' in 1990 and 'Culture Director General Prize' in 1993.
