This is an elegant
Fukuro obi with 'oshidori'(mandurin duck), butterfly, 'karabana'(imaginary Chinese flower) and 'karakusa'(arabesque) design, which is dyed and embroidered.
Drawn work (one of the techniques of removing thread partly to make a ground textile seen through) is added to the design partly.
Textile is exquisite silk and has smooth touch.
A stain on the upper 'otaiko'(square bow) is not noticeable.(First photo of flaws)
A stain(A) on 'maegara' (front patterned part) of Kanto wrap (rotate obi counterclockwise) side is disturbing a little.
It has some other flaws such as folding lines.
Please check photos and figure for other flaws.
If these minor flaws do not bother you, it could be still worn.
This piece would add extra elegance to your kimono outfit.
