This is a kimono in the Showa period (1926- 1989) with a wave and Tsujigahana pattern, which is dyed with the shibori(tie-dyed) technique.
The textile is exquisite silk with a fine arare(hailstone) pattern, and has soft touch.
The collar is 'hiro-eri'(unfolded).
It has a woven kamon(family crest) on the nape.

The chest stain are relatively slight, and not noticeable so much.
The left sleeve seams and the back seams of the lining are coming loose, which is not due to deterioration over time.(C, G)
There are prominent discoloration and tiny yellow patches(patina) on the shibori(tie-dyed) pattern.
The hem and the sleeves has discoloration and yellow patches(patina) too.( x marks in the figure.)
There are whitish stains on the left sleeve and left front panel, which are noticeable.
The right sleeve seams is frayed.
There are some other faults such as prominent wear on the collar, slight smudges and tiny stains, so please check the figure and photos for details.

Though it has some flaws by ages, please enjoy its full taste of vintage!
