This is a tasteful summer
Nagoya obi with stream, kingfisher, 'hagi'(Japanese bush clover) and moon on 'tanzaku'(strip of paper) design, which is woven.
Gold and silver foil threads are added to the design and elegantly shining.
Textile is transparent exquisite silk and has smooth touch.
Maegara(front patterned part) is only one side.
When you start wrapping the obi from your right tummy to left (Rotate obi counterclockwise), the maegara will appear.
Not shown on the sheet, it has patinas on the lining, they are seen through from 'taresaki'(end of wide part) but they are not prominent.
It has some other flaws such as prominent folding lines.
Please check photos and figure for other flaws.
Although there are these flaws, please enjoy it casually.
