This is a graceful vintage
Nagoya obi with 'Nadeshiko'(dianthus), 'Kikyou'(Japanese bellflower), 'Hagi'(Japanese bush clover) and flying butterfly design, which is woven.
Textile is exquisite silk and has light touch.
The length is rather short. 322cm(10ft 6.77in)
The pattern is designed up side down to be tied with hikinuki knot style.
Although not shown on the figure, it has discoloration due to its age focusing on design parts.
It has missing threads by fray on 'taresaki'(end of part), 'otaiko'(square bow) and both 'maegara' (front pattern on belly).
It has seams on the wrong side of 'tare'(wide end), other fabric is attached on the wrong side.
It also has some other flaws such as folding lines.
For the details, please refer to the photos and figure.
Though it has some flaws by ages, please enjoy its full taste of vintage!
