This is a graceful
Fukuro obi with "Karabana"(imaginary Chinese flower) pattern, which is woven with gold foil thread on the gradation of black color to purple color base.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
It has weaving flaw like a flaw, that is tiny and not noticeable.
However, when you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right (Rotate obi clockwise), it will be hidden. (1st flaw photo)
It seems like the original owner of this obi enjoyed many fancy bow, so that there are folding lines from 'taresaki'(end of part) to 'tesaki'(narrow end).
