This is a long coat with Douchugi collar made by first generation of Itchiku Kubota, one of the most famous dyers, who is famous for his revival of Tsujigahana.
It has the Tsujigahana design, which is dyed with Shibori (tie-dye) technique.
Its ink brush painting, soft colors and beautiful gradation are so fascinating.
Tiny dots pattern is also designed on the pale reddish gray background.

Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
Gold foil threads are woven in the base, and they are modestly shining.
There is a stamp of the designer's signature on the right front panel.

It has basting stitches and seems just been cleaned.
There is no prominent flaw and it is in very good condition!

Please enjoy its beautiful design at your hands!
