This is a set of Houmongi Kimono and Juban(undergarment).

1)Houmongi Kimono
It is a fabulous piece made by first generation of Itchiku Kubota, one of the most famous dyers, who is famous for his revival of Tsujigahana.
It has marbling-like stream design, which is dyed so fascinatingly.
Tiny dots pattern is also designed on the pale reddish gray background.

Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
Gold foil threads are woven in the base, and they are modestly shining.
There is a stamp of the designer's signature on the right front panel.
It has basting stitches and seems just been cleaned.

It has a rust stain on the collar lining, but there is no other flaw.
Please check photos for details.

2)Juban
It is an awase(lined) juban with tasteful ombre dyed pattern.
Textile is exquisite silk with woven 'fukiyose'(various leaves gathered by wind) pattern and has soft touch.
Silk Han-eri(added collar) is attached.
It has basting stitches and seems just been cleaned.

There is no prominent flaw and it is in very good condition!

Please enjoy its beautiful design at your hands!
