This is an elegant awase (lined) juban (undergarment) with 'Ume' (plum blossom) and maple leaf on stream pattern, which is dyed with shibori(tie-dye) technique.
Textile is exquisite silk with woven sayagata pattern, and has soft touch.
Synthetic han-eri is attached.

It has discoloration and patinas on its base by ages.
The discoloration on the panels are prominent.
It has noticeable stains on the sleeve seam.
For the detail, please check figures and photos.

Although it has worn-out feeling, it doesn't bother to wear.
Please enjoy its retro piece with vintage feeling.

If you are looking for a right juban for Kimono, please do not refer to 'around hip' measurement as tailoring type of each juban varies.
Average back width of juban is approx 61cm(24in), and key to find the right juban is sleeve to sleeve and sleeve lengths.

Juban sleeve to sleeve length should be the same or slightly shorter length of kimono.
Juban sleeve length should be approx same or a little longer length so the sleeve bottom settle in the kimono sleeves nicely. If the juban sleves are shorter, the bottom of the sleeves will come out from kimono sleeves.
