This is a graceful vintage Hon-Fukuro Obi with 'karako' (Chinese child) and circle of flower and bird pattern, which is woven with a lot of shining foil thread.
It is made by Tatsumura with brand name 'Tatsumura'.

There is another 'otaiko'(square bow) pattern which will be seen inside of 'otaiko' when you tie it.
It is so called "Ura-Taiko" (wrong side taiko).
It makes this obi very luxurious which can be seen just a little bit.
It is the obi which is outstanding from regular 'otaiko' pattern obi.

Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
The length is rather short. 408cm(160.62in)
There is a woven 'Tatsumura' on the tare end.

Although not shown on the figure, it has folding lines.
It has discoloration on the pattern, and has slight discoloration on the base.
Both ends are opened, the lining can be seen.
For the details, please refer to the photos and figure.

Though it has some flaws by ages, please enjoy its full taste of vintage!
