This is a Hon-Fukuro obi with 'Matsu'(pine tree) grove pattern, which is woven.
It is woven by Kawashima Weaving Co, one the most famous obi weavers.
Shiny gold foil threads are woven in the tasteful pattern.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
Its length is rather short, 163in(414cm).
There are three golden lines and a gunpai-mark(referee's fan), which are distinct features of textile woven by Kawashima.

Stains on the tare end are slight, so they are not prominent.(3rd flaw photo)
Besides it has some other flaws such as slight discoloration and folding lines.
Please check photos for details.

If these flaws do not bother you, it could be still worn.
Please enjoy its stylish fashion!

*Kawashima Textiles Co.*

In 1843, company founder, Jimbei Kawashima, opened a fabrics store in Nishijin, Kyoto.
Now Kawashima has two ongoing businesses, traditional garments/textiles and interior products, such as curtains.
The three lines and Gunpai, referee's fan, emblem are the two significant marks of the brand.
The brand is famous because their products and design are elegant, detailed and sophisticated.
Their Hon Fukuro obi is especially highly evaluated for its comfortableness and evenness in thickness.
