This is a fascinating vintage Chuya Obi with moon with cloud, 'matsu'(pine tree), 'Ume'(Plum blossoms) and scenery of tea house design, which is woven.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
The lining is black color 'Shusu'(satin).
It has 2 designs on otaiko(square bow), and 'maegara' (front pattern on belly) of the one design could be hidden when you tie it with hikinuki knot style.
If you use normal position of 'otaiko'(square bow) design, it would be better to set 'otaiko'(square bow) at first, and wrap narrow belt part then.
'Maegara' (front patterned part) will appear if tied with double layered style.

It has lines of smudges that have been re-tailored on both edges.
It has shinny spots on the base, it seems to be the mark of such as iron.
It has slight discoloration and it looks like uneven colored.
The stains along folding lines are noticeable. (5th flaw photo)
It has slight and tiny stains on 'taresaki'(end of wide part). (3rd flaw photo)

It has slight smudges on the corner of lining.
Although there is no photo of it, it has some tiny frays.

For the details, please refer to the photos and figure.

It these flaws do not bother you, it could be still worn.
Please enjoy its fascinating fashion!
