This is a fashionable Zentsu(fully patterned) Fukuro obi
with a karabana(imaginary Chinese flower) pattern, which is woven thickly with kokechi-ori technique.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch, and the lining is silk and Tsumugi
This piece was woven by Watabun, one of the most famous obi weavers in Nishijin, Kyoto.
There is a stamp of the designer's signature on the wrong side of Tare(the wide part).
It has folding lines from the wrong side of te-saki(one end) to tare-saki(end of the wide part) but can't be seen from the right side.
