This is a vintage Michiyuki
coat with 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) and 'Kaede'(maple leaf) pattern,which is dyed with Shibori(tie-dye) technique.
The vivid pattern emerges out against black color base.
It is woven 'Ume'(Plum blossoms) pattern on the base.
Textile is exquisite soft silk with damask effect(rinzu).
The collar shape is so charming.
Its lining is silk with Heian nobles on 'jigami'(fan shape) pattern.
The sleeve length is long, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII.
It has tears on the bouton and the right armpit.(B)
The fabric of right cuff is weaking by fray.
Although not shown on the figure, the fabric of left sleeve has the same flaw.
The stitch on the back right armpit is coming loose.(E)
It has stains on the both panel, the hem and the back of right sleeve.(D,F)
Its lining has slight discoloration.

Although not shown on the figure, it has the peeling spots of gold glazing.
It has prominent creases on the left front panel and on the left collar. (refer to the top photo)
Though it has some flaws by ages, please enjoy its full taste of vintage!
