This is a vibrant vintage Maru obi
and 'Botan'(peony) on 'tatewaku'(waving line) pattern, which is woven.
The vibrant pattern has three-dimensional look with full foiled threads.
Textile is exquisite thick tsuzure silk and has light touch
It has kaikiri lines(end mark line) on both ends, and it's to be tied in 'hikinuki' style.
Both ends are unpicked.
It has discoloration, patinas and stains on its base by ages.
It has some other flaws such as folding lines.
