This is a vintage hitoe(not lined) Meisen
Kimono with flower on ichimatsu(checkerboard) pattern, which is woven.
Its vibrant hue has gorgeous atmosphere.
Textile is exquisite silk and has light touch.
The collar is Bachi-eri(folded collar), and it is hand-sewn.
The sleeve length is long, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII.
Cotton shoulder pads and ishiki-ate(lining fabric around hip part) are not attached.
If you unpick the seams on shoulders, additional 2.36in(6cm) can be extended on sleeve-to-sleeve length.
It has slight discoloration and patinas overall.
It has wear (A) and stains on the collar.
It has stains on the bottom, on both sleeves and on upper back.(D)
