This is a graceful vintage hitoe(not lined) Irotomesode
Kimono with elegant rose design, which is dyed.
Fine embroidery work is added on the main parts.
Textile is exquisite silk with woven 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) and fan pattern and has soft but textured touch.
It has five embroidered kamons(family crest).
The collar is bachi-eri(folded collar).
It is hand-sewn.
The sleeve length is long, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII.
'Ishikiate'(square piece of reinforcement cloth) is not attached.
Basting stitches remain on the sleeves.
It has relatively prominent discoloration and patinas overall.
It has wear. (B)
It has stains in the middle of the left front panel, on both back sleeves and on the back bottom.(D)
