This is a vintage Irotomesode
kimono with beautiful 'botan'(peony) and "Nanten" (nandina) pattern, which is dyed.
Fine embroidery work is added on parts of the pattern.
Sayagata pattern and flower 'Marumon' (circle) are woven on fabric.
Collar is bachi-eri(folded collar).
Sleeves are gracefully long, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII.
It has one embroidered kamon(family crest).
Actual color is more dimmer than shown on photos.
It is discolored throughout, and the pattern has patinas.
Stains on left front panel show when worn, but not disturbing.
It has some other flaws, such as wear on collar and fine snags, as shown on photos.
Please see photos for details.
Because of its old age, it has some flaws, but it is still a very lovely vintage item.
