This is a vintage Maru obi
with a pattern such as 'Shou-chiku-bai'( pine tree, bamboo and ume blossom) and oshidori (mandarin duck), which is woven.
Gold foil threads woven in the pattern are modestly shining against the chic hue.
Textile is silk and jinken (rayon) blend and has crisp touch.
The stitches are largely coming loose from the tare end to the edge. (to the black square mark of the figure)
It has frays on the tare end and throughout the edges.
It has tears and repaired one on otaiko(square bow).
It has folding lines.
