This is a Nagoya obi
with graceful "Karabana"(imaginary Chinese flower) and 'Karakusa'(arabesque), which is carefully embroidered.
Gold foil threads are used in the three dimensional-look vibrant design.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
Although not shown on the figure, it has discoloration allover.
It has stains on the upper and lower of 'otaiko'(square bow),it could be hidden when you tie it.
The flaw A is that threads are coming out, it could be hidden when you tie it.
The flaw C near 'maegara' (front pattern on belly) is that the foil on base is coming off.
It has some other flaws such as snags and folding lines.

It these flaws do not bother you, it could be still worn.
