This is a Nagoya obi
with 'Kaede' (maples) with stream motif, which is dyed with shibori(tie-dye) technique.
Layering Hishi (diamond shape), 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) and 'Kiri'(paulownia ) are woven on fabric.
Textile is glossy silk, and it has soft to the touch.
It has fine dyestuff stains on Tare end, above Otaiko pattern, and the belt part, they will not show when tied.
From Tare end to the belt, there are slight discoloration.
Stain on the belt is not disturbing even when tied.
