This is a graceful Tsumugi Nagoya obi
with a design of 'Tsubaki' (camellia) on wave, which is embroidered with Sagara embroidery technique.
Drawn work (one of the techniques of removing thread partly to make a ground textile seen through) is added on the design fashionably.
Textile is Tsumugi
silk and has soft and nubby touch.
It has slight discoloration from the tare end to upper otaiko(square bow), but not noticeable.
It has a sang on otaiko(square bow), and a few stains on the tare end.
The tare corners are frayed.
It has a tiny snag on 'Maegara' (front patterned part), but hardly noticeable.(A)
It has stains on 'Maegara' (front patterned part).
It also has folding lines.

Though it has some flaws, it is in very good condition overall.
