This is a fashionable Tsumugi Fukuro obi
with 'Nadeshiko'(dianthus), 'Ume' (plum blossom),swirl and 'shippou-tsunagi' (interlocking circles) design, which is woven with 'sukui' technique, a kind of tsuzure weaving technique.
Gold threads woven in the pattern are modestly shining.
Textile is exquisite transparent silk and has soft touch.
It has prominent discoloration on upper otaiko(square bow), but it will be hidden when tied.
The snags on otaiko(square bow) are tiny and not noticeable.
The folding lines are quite slight.
