This is a tasteful Iromuji Kimono with refreshing colored ombre dyed pattern.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft but textured touch.

The collar is Hiro-eri(unfolded).
Hakkake(lower part of lining) has water surface pattern.
It has an embroidered kamon(family crest).
This piece is designed by Sansai Saito, a famous kimono designer.
It has a stamp of the designer's signature on the right front panel.

*The real base color is relatively brighter than the photos.

It has prominent wear on the collar, and the stains on the sleeves are disturbing.
It also has smudges on the cuff, shoulder top and sides seams.
Lining is discolored slightly, but discoloration and patinas on the outside are relatively slight.
Besides it has some other flaws so please check photos for details.

Unfortunately, it is no longer wearable due to the stains.
However, we hope you enjoy its elegant pattern as dressing practice.

*Sansai Saito*
One of the leading kimono designers known for his distinctive sense in beauty of the color and innovative design.
He was influenced by his father who was a dyer, Saisaburo Saito.
Ever since his work was appeared in a popular magazine "the beautiful kimono" in 1965, he came to be taken up by various media such as TV and magazines.
His son, Jotaro, has also succeeded as a kimono designer and works actively at present.
