This is an opened Nagoya obi
with traditional tiger and bird in circle pattern, which is woven.
Textile is exquisite soft silk.
The edges of 'otaiko'(square bow) part has additional layer to be look like double layer 'otaiko'.
*It seems to be made by Tatsumura Textile co., ltd, one of the most appreciated leading textile complanies in Japan. However, the wrong side doesn't have woven "Tatsumura" name as usual. It has a tag which says "Tatsumura" though.
There are frays on the edges which are not that noticeable.
There is a small snag on 'otaiko'(square bow).
There are some other flaws such as folding lines.
For the details, please refer to the photos and figure.
Although it has sense of use, as a whole, it is in very good condition.
Enjoy wearing the elegant design.
