This is a vintage summer ro Nagoya obi
with autumn flower design such as 'Kikyo'(Chinese bellflower), 'Nadeshiko'(dianthus) and 'Hagi'(bush clover), which is embroidered.
Textile is exquisite silk with woven large 'Fuji' (wisteria) pattern and has soft touch.
Its elaborately embroidered design has three-dimensional glossy beauty.
Textile is silk and jinken (rayon) blend and has light touch.
'Maegara' (front patterned part) is on one side.
When you start wrapping the obi from your right tummy to left(Rotate obi counterclockwise), Maegara will show.
It has large stains on such as otaiko(square bow) and near 'Maegara' (front patterned part)(refer to the 7th flaws photo), they will be hidden when tied.
The stains on 'Maegara' (front patterned part) are slight and not so noticeable.
The threads are missing by fray on the embroidery of the tare end and 'Maegara' (front patterned part).(A)
It has some other flaws such as discoloration by ages allover (refer to the 6th flaws photo) and folding lines (refer to the 8th flaws photo).
