This is a graceful opened shioze Nagoya obi
with wave and crane pattern, which is dyed with shibori(tie-dye) technique.
Textile is shioze silk, and it has soft and comfortable smooth touch which is the feature of shioze silk.
There is a stamp of the designer's signature on the tare part.
The stains on 'Maegara' (front patterned part) are a little bothering.
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), the stains will be hidden.
It also has slight folding lines.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
Although not shown on the photo and figure, it has light brown patinas in places on the wrong side of otaiko(square bow) and lining.
They are relatively slight and the ones on otaiko(square bow) are not so noticeable.
Though it has some flaws, it is in very good condition overall.
Please enjoy this elegant design.
