What a WONDERFUL design this is!
It is a sophisticated Houmongi Kimono designed by Rinzou Kyoya.
It has a design of 'chayatsuji'(water garden scenery), which is fully embroidered.
Cloud design is also dyed on the base.

Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
The collar is Hiro-eri(unfolded).
It has a stamp of the designer's signature on the right front panel.
It has basting stitches and seems just been cleaned.

Discoloration of the outside and lining is slight so it is not disturbing.
Besides it has some other flaws such as small stains.
Please check photos for details.

As a whole, it is in very good condition!
Please enjoy its luxurious design at your hands!

*Kyoya Rinzou*
The first generation Rinzou was a dyer born in Kyoto, and opened a store in Takasaki, Gunma prefecture seeking for better silk in 1598.
Up to current 18 generations, Tsujigahana is inherited more than 400 years. They pursue the eternal beauty of ancient India and Chinese sarasa pattern with shibori(tie-dye) .
They originally use Yuki for Tsujigahana, and draw elaborately by hand. Delicate weaving and hand embroidery work are also praised following a tradition from production to sewing throughout.
They inherit "a beautiful Japanese kimono" to be proud of to the world.
