This is a red uchikake from mid-Showa period(Showa:1926-1989).
It has fabulous flower, cloud, and fan patterns, which are gorgeously dyed and partly embroidered.
Gold dyestuff has resin touch.
Textile is silk, and has textured and soft touch.
Lining textile is synthetic.
Bottom is heavily padded, and it is worn with the bottom trailing along the floor.
It seems to have slight patinas on the white patterned part all over, and a few slight small stains, and some small stains as shown on photos.
Regarding the lining, it has some wears(bottom), some slight small stains, and a couple of snags.
Still it will be a good material for your handicraft.
