This is a graceful kimono fabric cut into Houmongi
shape and stitched roughly before sewing to make Houmongi.
It has seasonal flowers such as 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum), 'Tsubaki' (camellia) and 'Kikyo'(Chinese bellflower) and mandarin ducks pattern, which is dyed.
Gold glazing is added elegantly on the pattern.
Textile is exquisite glossy silk with woven 'tataki-zome'(dyed it smashed into the ground) pattern, and has soft touch.
*The actual background color is not so bluish as the photos, and close to chic gray.
As the figure shown, it has prominent discoloration and tiny stains.
Please see photos for details.
It must be an amazing handicraft material!
