This is a Tsumugi Fukuro obi
with a design of 'Hana-bishi' (flower diamond) and 'housouge'(large karabana flower), which is embroidered with Sagara embroidery work.
'Matsukawa-bishi'(pine bark diamond) design is also embroidered with drawn work technique (one of the techniques of removing thread partly to make a ground textile seen through).
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
Although not shown on the photo and figure, it is discolored slightly overall.
There are patinas on otaiko, and they are disturbing with the pale color base.
Besides it has quite slight folding lines.
Please check photos for details.
If these flaws do not bother you, it could be still worn.
Please enjoy its elegant fashion!
