This is a Tsumugi Fukuro obi
with a design of 'housouge'(large karabana flower), which is embroidered with Sagara embroidery work.
'Kiredori'(overlapping fabric scraps) in 'kasumi'(mist) design is also embroidered with drawn work technique (one of the techniques of removing thread partly to make a ground textile seen through).
Textile is Tsumugi
silk and has soft but nubby touch.
Although not shown on the photo and figure, it is discolored slightly overall.
There are patinas mainly on the left edge of otaiko, and they are disturbing with the pale color base.(1st flaw photo)
Besides it has some other flaws such as quite slight folding lines.
Please check photos for details.
If these flaws do not bother you, it could be still worn.
Please enjoy its elegant fashion!
