This is a vintage Nagoya obi
with 'Botan'(peony) and oxalis in baskets pattern, which is dyed.
The fine embroidery works are applied on the pattern for adding extra gorgeousness to it.
Textile is smooth 'Jinken'(rayon).
It is relatively short.(10'8"/325.5cm)
The wrong side fabric can be seen on the right edge of upper 'otaiko'(square bow).(C)
There is a large stain(B) around 'maegara' (front pattern on belly) which could be hidden when you tie it.
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right (Rotate obi clockwise), the other maegara appears.
There are some other flaws such as faint stains on 'otaiko'(square bow)(refer to the 2nd flaws photo), holes.
For the details, please refer to the photos and figure.
Unfortunately, it maybe no longer in wearable condition. However, it is still charming design which we would like you to enjoy.
