This is a gorgeous Fukuro obi
with 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) 'Hana-bishi' (flower diamond) pattern, which is elaborately woven with gold, silver and foiled threads.
This beautiful piece is woven by Kondaya-Genbei, one of the very famous obi weavers in Japan.
The fabric on the wrong side has transparent feeling, but it can be tied on seasons of awase(lined) kimono.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
It has some flaws such as folding lines, however it is in very good conditions as a whole.
It has no other prominent flaws, and it is in very good condition.
