This is a gorgeous Houmongi
Kimono with beautiful design of Tsujihagana, which is dyed on the dynamic 'somewake'(dyed with separate colors) background.
The shibori(tie-dye) technique has three-dimensional look.
Gold threads are woven on its base and gold glazing is partially added on the design.
The design is added dynamically from the shoulder to the bottom.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
The collar is Hiro-eri(unfolded).
It has a stamp of the designer's signature on the right front panel.
The stains on the left front panel are stain and not so noticeable.
Although not shown on the photo, the stains on the back sleeve are deeper than the ones on the left front panel, and a little bothering.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
Although it has worn-out feeling, it could be worn if these minor flaws do not bother you.
Please enjoy this elegant design from Japanese classical motif.
