This is a vintage Michiyuki
coat with large 'shippou-tsunagi' (interlocking circles) 'Hana-bishi' (flower diamond) pattern, which is dyed with shibori(tie-dye) technique.
It has woven 'Tsubaki' (camellia) pattern on its base.
Textile is exquisite 'Monkinsha'(fine crepe with damask effect) silk and has soft touch.
The lining (plain silk) has dyed 'Ume' (plum blossom) on fan pattern.
Sleeves are long, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII.
The collar is so fashionable like gourd.
It has discoloration and patinas by ages overall.
The discoloration on the shoulder is especially noticeable.
It has some other flaws such as stains and smudges.
