This is a fashionable Tsumugi Fukuro obi
with grape and plover in circles pattern, which is woven.
The transparent background was woven with kushi-ori(comb weaving) technique. The pattern was woven with 'sukui' technique, a kind of tsuzure weaving technique.
Textile is rustic soft Tsumugi
silk with knobs of yarns.
The lining is not seen through, so it is not a summer obi.
*Although there is no photo of it, there is a letter woven inside of 'tesaki'(end of folded part).
There is no folding line.
It seems to be an unworn piece.
There is no flaw. It is in very good condition.
Enjoy wearing the elegant design.
