There is a vintage Nagoya obi
with large "Karabana"(imaginary Chinese flower) pattern, which is woven.
The woven gold foiled threads elegantly shine.
Textile is silk and jinken (rayon) blend.
It is relatively short.(10'4"/316cm)
Although it's not mentioned on the sheet and photo,
there is discoloration throughout, frays on the edges.
There are stains on 'otaiko'(square bow) which could be hidden when you tie it.
There are some other flaws such as folding lines.For the details, please refer to the photos and figure.
*It has slight smell of insect repellent.
Although it has some flaws due to its age, it is still very charming design which only vintage items have.
