This is a vintage Meisen
Kimono with 'Karabana' (imaginary flower in china) and decorative design, which is woven.
Touch of pink on Karabana is very charming.
Textile is silk, and it has soft to the touch.
Collar is bachi-eri(folded collar).
Sleeves are slightly long.
Douura 'upper lining' is silk, but Hakkake 'lower lining' is wool.
There are small holes and repaired tears on both outside and lining fabrics, but they are not from deterioration of the fabrics.
Since the Hakkake 'lower lining' is wool, there are more holed along the bottom.
It also has rather noticeable wear on collar and smudges.
Please see photos for details.
Because of its old age, it has some flaws, but it is still a very lovely vintage item.
