This is an attractive vintage Nagoya obi
with Bangasa (coarse oilpaper umbrella) and ivy leaf pattern, which is dyed.
The fine embroidery works partially are applied on the pattern.
Textile is exquisite glossy 'Shusu'(satin) silk and has soft touch.
It has some large stains on upper otaiko(square bow) and half of them will appear.(refer to the 4th flaws photo)
The embroidered parts are frayed and gold glazing is peeling off.(A B C)
It has quite slight discoloration overall by ages.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
Though it has some flaws by ages, it is in very good condition overall.
Please enjoy this elegant design of a vintage.
