This is a Nagoya obi
with vibrant flower and bird pattern, which is woven on the black background.
It has 'Botan'(peony), 'Ume' (plum blossom) and pheasant design with gold foil threads.
Textile is glossy jinken (rayon) and has soft touch.
Although not shown on the photo and figure, the kaikiri lines(end mark line) is a little curving.
It has thread scuff by fray on upper otaiko(square bow).
A thread is coming out on the edge of 'Maegara' (front patterned part).
It has tiny stains on 'Maegara' (front patterned part) (A).
When you start wrapping the obi from your right tummy to left(Rotate obi counterclockwise), the tiny stains will be hidden.
The stain on the wrong side of tare will be hidden.
