This is a Tsumugi Nagoya obi
with flower design such as 'botan'(peony) and 'kiku'(chrysanthemum) on 'kiredori'(overlapping fabric scraps), which is woven.
Part of the design is embroidered with gold foil threads.
Textile is Tsumugi
silk and has nubby touch with rustic atmosphere.
Although not shown on the figure, it is discolored slightly overall.
It also has rather prominent smudges throughout both edges.
There is a brownish stain lower otaiko, but it can be hidden when tied.
Besides it has a folding line, so please check photos for details.
If these flaws do not bother you, it could be still worn.
